"Sacred Narratives: A Hindu-Chrisitan Study Circle on the Birth Stories of Krishna and Jesus"

Co-sponsored by Project Interfaith and The Hindu Temple

Sunday, February 13th, 2011, 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Hindu Temple

An optional tour of the Temple will follow the study circle from 5:00 - 5:30 pm

Come meet your neigbors! Join us as we explore the role of sacred texts in Hinduism, Roman Catholicism and Protestantism traditions. Learn about the various approaches for interpreting and understanding them as we look at two stories central to these traditions: the birth stories of Krishna and Jesus.

No previous study of Hinduism or Chistianitity is necessary. Participants will be asked to do light reading in preparation for participating in this program.

This event is open to the public. We will limit the study circle to 70 participants. Register now as space is limited. Registration closes on Monday, February 7, 2010.

$10 for non-students
$5 for students with ID.

Should this fee pose a hardship, please contact Project Interfaith Executive Director Beth Katz at (402) 933-4647 or beth@projectinterfaithusa.org.
